Avoch Community Centre
Black Isle Community Energy, a new group, convened by Transition Black Isle and the Black Isle Partnership, is working on the idea of a small community-owned wind power project on the Black Isle. It could generate up to half the electricity used here, with all profits channelled into community projects.
This is one of a series of community council public meetings to present the project, discuss it and ask questions.
This wind project could generate up to £500000 a year. A new charity will be set up to distribute the money - we’re collecting ideas and we need more
