Local bus information online

04 January 2016

We have set up a new page Travel and tourism / Bus information and timetables to give website users easy access to up-to-date timetables for all bus services covering the Black Isle.

Most of the timetables were updated at 23 November, but there have been some more recent changes (effective from 5 January) to the 22 Inverness - Culbokie service.  These mainly involve the extension of the service to Evanton and Dingwall on Saturdays, and one or two timing changes.  The new timetable for this service is available via the link from our Bus information page.

Depending on where you live you may be interested in the 'demand-responsive' service 21 which runs between Dingwall and Cromarty on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  This is timetabled between Dingwall and Culbokie, but from Culbokie to Cromarty and back the route will vary according to demand.  To book a journey - to be picked up and dropped off in Killen, for example - you need to phone 01463 258934 the day before.  There is more information about these services in the online timetable which can be viewed from the Bus information page.
