Content of workshop:
Potatoes in the crop rotation
Difference of 1st earlies, 2nd Earlies, Main etc
Chitting potatoes
Preparation of the soil - What to add organically.
How to plant the potatoes in ground/ potato bags- practical element to session
Care if growing plants
Harvesting and storing
Workshop aimed at those new to growing tatties, but if you have some experience come along and share it with the group.
Cost: by donation (suggest £5-£10 per session)

Booking required as numbers limited.
Dress for weather conditions, boots or similar, gardening gloves if you use them. The venue is on a south facing slope so can be windy.
