Common Weal / InverYESs are holding a second study workshop on think tank Common Weal's 'Our Common Home' plan for a 'Green New Deal' for Scotland.
Organiser Morgan Cowley writes
"On Thursday Jan 30 we’ll home in on the topics of TRANSPORT & FOOD.
"Almost all attendees at the last session who signed up as interested in particular topics signed up for either TRANSPORT or FOOD or both.
. . . .
"One significant item not discussed on Jan 9th was the prospect of a Citizens’ or People’s Assembly for the city of Inverness? Could a group like ours help to initiate something like this? Some cities in the UK are now doing this."
Check out Common Weal, and read an extended summary of their Common Home plan.
