CCT - Culbokie Woods work party - volunteers wanted

04 December 2021, Starts: 10:30

Saturday 4 December    playing field entrance    10.30

Sorry no Christmas trees!

December is almost upon us already, and we will be running a slightly smaller version of our traditional Culbokie Woods work party on Saturday 4th December.  This year’s work will be clearing shrubs and small trees where they are beginning to over-grow one of the paths.  Unfortunately Forest & Land Scotland have changed their policy and this year we aren’t able to offer the reward of a spruce tree to take away – but most of the frequently-used paths are quite clear at the moment, so there isn’t too much clearance needed.  Meet at the entrance to the woods by the recycling bins, next to the playing field, at 10.30.  Bring clothes appropriate for the weather and gorse, a packed lunch and hot drink, and a positive attitude!  We will have some tools, work gloves and eye protection, but bring your own if you have them.
