Anna Patfield of Planet Sutherland has drawn attention to this project, and writes
Nourish Scotland is working on a project assessing the availability and price of fruit and veg in communities across Scotland within the framework of the Right To Food. The project is seeking the support of community researchers who may be individual clients from our food projects or may be those who organise such. Please have a read below and sign up to one of the upcoming workshops to find out more (15,16,20 June). Community Researchers will be reimbursed for any fruit and vegetables they purchase as part of the research and the transport costs involved.

Our Right to Food: Affording to eat well in Scotland
Are you interested in the availability and price of fruit & veg in your community?
Get involved in the Our Right to Food project!
We have the vision that everyone in Scotland should be able to access and afford the food that keeps them healthy and well. But good food is not available everywhere and for many it is too expensive or hard to reach. This project explores the availability and price of fruit and vegetables that we believe should be accessible to everyone in Scotland.
We invite you to join the project as a Community Researcher to help us find out what fruit and veg is available in your local area, how much it costs, and what this means for your community and Scotland more widely.
Sign up here for one of our Introduction Workshops to learn more about the Our Right to Food project and get the research tools you need.
