I have a contact in England who has a thermal imaging camera, and has offered to come up and carry out surveys of up to 10 homes, if there's enough interest. The survey would involve taking thermal images throughout the inside of the house, to indicate draughts, poorly installed (or missing) insulation, damp, etc. Typically the survey itself takes one or two hours, and a further 2 or 3 hours to produce a report. The cost will be £100 per home, provided we can arrange for them to be done over a 3 or 4 day period. This is about half the normal charge, Paul is doing this as a favour to me, to show me how the camera works and let me work out whether it's worth me getting one. If anyone is interested, either reply to this, or send me a personal message (click on "PM" below this post).
