Tony Juniper, previous head of Friends of the Earth England and Wales has just published a new book with this title.
Here is an interview with him where he talks about it. Makes a lot of sense.
He argues that far from investing in the environment being a drag on the economy not protecting the environment is already and will continue to have significant economic consequences which are far greater than the amount needed to preserve the environment so it is in our economic self interest to get things right.
