This month we decided to discuss communication --preferred methods--views on TBI, TBI website and use of the forum. Some people only look at one subject on the forum.
The geography of the Black Isle featured both as a difficulty in terms of getting people together and as an opportunity for village or area specialisation or diversity. Transport problems are a particular problem for those living on the north side of the Black Isle.
We differed over how important we saw recruiting more members/letting as many people as possible know about transition. We all agreed however that climate change and the way humans have plundered the earths resources are enormously important. We had all changed some aspects of the way we live.
We touched on renewable energies and listed the ingredients for a great green salad--got to about 20!!
You may be wondering how many of us got together last night--only 4 but maybe you would like to join us next month ? We will be in Alcaig with Sue and Hugh at the beginning of July--date will be on the calendar
