  • a series of workshops for the inexperienced or experienced related to growing or making your own
  • a chance for guidance from experienced tutors, along with hands-on practice
  • opportunities to meet and exchange tips with others, share ideas
  • tea/coffee provided

Children under 16 free with accompanying adult

The 2019 programme

started on Saturday 30 March at Rosemarkie Allotments with a workshop on 'Back to basics of organic tattie planting'.

This session will include discussion about the versatility of willow, kinds of structures one can make and decision about what will be made during the workshop and input about the 'how' of making a structure. 

Followed by practical experince as we create a structure on site.

Come dressed for outdoors  (incl footwear) and current climate conditions !
Bring notebook and pen, opportunity to ask questions as we go along.

Final scheduled session postponed until next year

The session on 'Hand tools and their upkeep and coppicing – what to do with cut wood', originally scheduled for November, will not now take place this year.  We hope we will be able to run this session next year.
