Highland Council Climate Conference
Thursday 21 and Friday 22 October 2021 online
From the Highland Council website
Addressing the Climate and Ecological Emergency and Working towards a Green Recovery.
As Glasgow prepared to host COP26, this proved to be the most impactful Highland Climate Change Conference we have ever held. The Conference represented a fantastic opportunity to bring people together from across and beyond Highland to discuss the climate and ecological emergency.
This year’s conference and its associated workshops took place virtually on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 October 2021. With the help of some eminent speakers from across all sectors, the conference explored topics relating to energy, land and sea, net zero and resilient communities.
Video recordings of the full proceedings of the conference are available
DAY 1 of The Highland Climate Change Conference discussed Energy and Land & Sea.
