The latest newsletter from Changeworks/Home Energy Scotland includes a link to a heartwarming case study of how the 'Highlands Partnership' of HES, the Citizens Advice Bureau and two energy companies helped an elderly lady who was afraid to use her old boiler and worried that she would not be able to pay her bills.  She was provided with a new boiler and financial assistance that enabled her to heat her house and transform her life.

Highland Council has also announced a scheme under which low income households within Highland experiencing fuel insecurities can apply for a non-repayable £60 grant, open until the end of February.
