Greenpeace Film Night Spectrum Centre Inverness 6.00 - 8.00

27 April 2017, Starts: 18:00

Please join us for a special evening for Greenpeace supporters in the Highlands.

Thursday 27th April, 6.00 – 8.00
The Spectrum Centre, 1B Margaret Street, Inverness IV1 1LS

To celebrate two years of the Inverness Greenpeace group and recent campaign successes on the palm oil and deforestation front, we are holding an event centred around a screening of the multi award winning film GREEN by Patrick Rouxel.

The film is a heartbreaking story of the orangutan Green, and her last days as her home is being destroyed. Rouxel has chosen to tell this story without narration, and instead let his hard-hitting imagery tell the tale in a poetic, yet haunting way.

The film will be introduced with a short presentation on who we are and how you can get involved, showing highlights of two very successful and exciting years of Greenpeace Inverness.

Entry is free but you can register for the event here.

All welcome. Bring some snacks, sit back and enjoy a great film on the threat to orangutans and the destruction of their habitat.

P.S. If you can’t make the event but would like to get involved with your local group, you can find us here.
