Hi All,

A friend of a friend of mine by the name of Chris is testing the concept of the 'Big Society' by walking round the coast of Scotland relying entirely on the kindness of strangers.

His blog is at http://walkamileinmyshoesuk.tumblr.com/ and an explanation of his journey and the motivations behind it is at his sponsorship page http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/walkamileinmyshoes

His adventure is all about meeting people and hearing their stories - and he'll have a few good tales to tell himself I reckon!

He'll be in the Black Isle from Wednesday, he is staying here at Redcastle and then wending his way east along the Black Isle, then northwards. If anyone's up for meeting him, offering a bite to eat, tent space or a bed, let me know and I'll put you in touch, or contact him directly 07535035909

We are part of the rapidly expanding worldwide Transition Towns movement. The Black Isle is a peninsula of about 100 sq miles ENE of Inverness in Scotland, UK.
