I started making local country wine about a year ago and I now have a few different types ready and several more on the go. I'd be keen to have a very informal wine tasting evening with other local wine makers. It would be really great to taste a range of different wines to find out which the best ones are and maybe swap notes. Its definately intended to be more social than technical - and I'm happy to host.

There are a few people who have expressed an interest in this who haven't yet started wine making. I'm really now looking for at least one other person who has a some wines that they're happy to bring along to show off and share with a small group. Hopefully this will help those of us already brewing to get better and encourage a few other people to have a go.

Is anyone interested?

Penny
