As you may be aware, this year the Scottish Government is encouraging everyone across Scotland to come together in collective action to go greener together, with its new national campaign.

An essential part of the campaign is support and grass roots involvement from people, businesses and organisations like yours. Helping people across Scotland understand the campaign and how they can get involved at a local level is key and you can play a key role in helping achieve this.

See the website here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Greener-Together/320344981331677

All relevant contact details are included in the briefing so if you have any queries or require further information, do let us know.

If you haven't already, we would also really appreciate if you could follow us on our facebook and twitter pages. Likewise if you can retweet, share our news etc. too that would be great - we'll do the same from our end.

For more information on the campaign you can also visit our website here www.greenerscotland.org

Each week on the website we feature a different blog post, examples have included a Valentine’s Day recipe from Michelin star chef Tom Kitchin and Mike Small from Fife Diet talking about the benefits of eating local and seasonal food. You can see an example here http://www.greenerscotland.org/greenertogether/mike-small-fife-diet...

It would be great to hear of your plans.

Best,
Shaun
