'How we got started' on Transition Network website

07 February 2015

Recently Rob Hopkins, co-founder of the Transition movement, asked TBI to do a piece on the theme of 'How we got started'.  In response several of TBI's founder members and current directors put their heads together to reconstruct the story of how Transition Black Isle began.  You can now see the fruits of their labours on the Transition Network website at

We are part of the rapidly expanding worldwide Transition Towns movement. The Black Isle is a peninsula of about 100 sq miles ENE of Inverness in Scotland, UK.
