Grow North workshop 2 10am-1pm
'Wildflower meadow creation'
How to create a wildflower meadow area in your garden, from scratch...what to consider about area of land, preparation required, how to maintain. Also incl consideration of types of wildflowers for our climate and region, what will attract bees etc
Hands on practical workshop with input as we go along.
Tutor : JJ Gladwin
Venue : Behind Rootfield Farm
Cost : by donation (suggest £5-£10)
This workshop will be entirely outdoors: dress for the weather conditions and be prepared for some physical work. Bring gloves, and if you have a spade/fork that too.
May be suitable for children in the care of a parent/carer.
Tea/coffee provided.
