Highland Council Climate Change Conference 2021 day 2
22 October 2021, Starts: 09:20, Ends: 17:10
Thursday 21 and Friday 22 October 2021 online
The Conference is a fantastic opportunity to bring people together from across and beyond Highland to discuss the climate and ecological emergency.
As Glasgow prepares to host COP26, this could be the most impactful Highland Climate Change Conference we have ever held.
With the help of some eminent speakers, the conference will explore topics relating to energy, land and sea, reaching net zero and building resilient communities.
Each day will start with an exciting line-up of talks from subject matter experts, community groups, local and national politicians and Highland Council staff. The afternoons will consist of friendly public workshops, where experienced chairs will guide conversations which reflect on the talks of the day.
DAY 2 of The Highland Climate Change Conference. We will be discussing Reaching Net Zero and Resilient Communities.
