Fundamentally Scottish traditional & Indian classical music share many features: drone; rhythm & groove; collective & individual improvisation; melodies & scales/raags; vocal rhythm patterns.
Tom Bancroft has added jazz and electronica to this mix, combining his borhan and drum playing with the outstanding musicianship of Sharat Chandra Srivastava (violin) & Gyan Singh (tabla) both last seen in Resolis as part of IndiaAlba, and Graeme Stephen (guitar & loops), Sophie Bancroft (voice), Gina Rae (voice).
