THRIVING SECTOR - HGFP consultation/discussion on the Good Food Nation Plan
15 April 2024, Starts: 14:00, Ends: 15:30
Monday 15 April 2.00 - 3.30 online by Zoom
Presented by Highland Good Food Partnership
Join us for this consultation event as we explore and discuss the National GFN Plan through the lens of economics and business and what a thriving food sector might mean for the future of the Scottish Highlands.
At this event the discussion focuses on Outcome 4 of the draft plan:
Our food and drink sector is prosperous, diverse, innovative, and vital to national and local economic and social wellbeing. It is key to making Scotland food secure and food resilient, and creates and sustains jobs and businesses underpinned by fair work standards.
How do we support a strong economy without undermining the Plan's other outcomes? What changes would make the biggest difference to you?
With thought-provoking speakers to spark our conversation, we look forward to exploring the context and opportunities this moment in our nation presents.
