BIHS Summer Show

12 August 2023

Starts: 14:30

Saturday 12 August        Gordon Memorial Hall  Rosemarkie

Graham Sullivan, Secretary of the Black Isle Horticultural Society, writes

Not long now until our Summer Show next Saturday 12th! After last year’s record number of entries, we’re hoping for another good Show despite the unsettled weather.

We’re expecting lots of entries for the Tub of Tatties competition, and the emptying outside the Hall at 2.00pm should be well worth seeing! The doors open for the Show at 2.30pm, and our popular Cream teas will again be available.

The Show isn’t just about plants, there are food, preserves, craft, and young peoples’ sections as well. There’s also a Photography and Botanical Illustration section – and if you want to submit photo entries digitally rather than as prints, you can do that up until Tuesday 8th August.

Full details are available on the BIHS website http://www.spanglefish.com/blackislehorticulturalsociety/, where you can download the Schedule. We’re also posting information on our Facebook page.

If you have any questions, please get in touch.  Hope to see you at the Show.
